About

A quiet corner for loud ideas.

buddycore is my creative home. It's where the things I make outside of everything else live — the songs, the small apps, the stories, the half-formed thoughts that eventually become something. It exists because I needed a place that belongs only to me, with no client, no boss, no roadmap, and no one to ask permission from.

It is independent by design. Nothing inside buddycore has to scale, pivot, or justify itself to a market. A track can be made because the melody won't leave my head. A tool can be built because I wanted it to exist. A story can be published because it deserves readers. The only standard is honesty — does this feel like mine?

buddycore is also slow on purpose. I'm not racing anyone. Some ideas take a weekend, others sit for years before they're ready. That patience is the point. It's the part of my life where I get to be wrong, get to experiment, get to follow a thread without knowing where it leads — and where finishing something matters more than optimising it.

One core, three crafts

Records is the music: self-produced, genre-free, released when it's ready. Studio is the software: focused web tools like BESTIMATE and playful experiments like Fate's Throw, built without accounts, tracking or dark patterns. Buddytoon is the newest thread: a publishing platform for comics and manga with a reader-centric donation model, currently in development.

What ties everything together isn't a category or a medium. It's a feeling: a little nostalgic, a little playful, a little stubborn. Built by one person in Switzerland, on their own terms, in their own time. If something carries that spirit, it belongs under buddycore. If it doesn't, it lives somewhere else.
